Stoneleigh - Attempt Burglary and Vehicle Crime - Reported on 23-FEB-2024

 

 

Incident: 64 of 23-FEB-2024: Between 00:00 and 05:00 Friday 23-FEB-2024 unknown offender(s) attempted to force entry into a residential property in Stoneleigh Close, Stoneleigh. Offender(s) caused damage to a door lock at the rear of the property. Entry was not gained. Nothing is believed to have been stolen from the property.

 

Crime Ref: 23/7818/24: Between 18:00 Thursday 22-FEB-2024 and 09:15 Friday 23-FEB-2024 unknown offender(s) forced entry into a red Isuzu D-Max pickup truck that was parked outside a property on Kings Hill Lane, Stoneleigh. Offender(s) smashed a rear window to gain entry. Nothing appears to have been stolen.

Warwickshire Police Update 25th October 2023.

Between 14:00 Thursday 14-SEP-2023 and 12:30 Monday 23-OCT-2023 unknown offender(s) approached a locked and secure silver Audi A3 that was parked in the street outside the victim’s property in Ashow. Offender(s) have entered the vehicle by unknown means and stolen a lightweight red wheelchair.

Warwickshire Police have issued the following warning on 25th November 2022:

We have received a number of calls regarding people being flagged down by a male asking for money for fuel or stating that he has his pregnant wife in the car and needs fuel.

If you come across a similar situation please stay in your vehicle and keep it secure, including your window up.  Do not get out of your vehicle or offer money, advise the person that if they need help to call the police.

Please also report to us where this has happened with as much detail of the vehicle and person(s) as possible, ensuring your safety at all times.
